Throwing Your Pearls to Swine

So yesterday, I talked about the danger in judging others, and (briefly!) I just want to mention one more thing! As I was rereading the opening scriptures, I realized that Jesus wrapped all of that up with something very, very important. He told us to help each other as we overcome BUT DON’T cast our pearls before swine.

“Do not judge and criticize and condemn [others unfairly with an attitude of self-righteous superiority as though assuming the office of a judge], so that you will not be judged [unfairly]. For just as you[hypocritically] judge others [when you are sinful and unrepentant], so will you be judged; and in accordance with your standard of measure[used to pass out judgment], judgment will be measured to you. Why do you look at the [insignificant] speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice and acknowledge the [egregious] log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me get the speck out of your eye,’ when there is a log in your own eye? You hypocrite (play-actor, pretender), first get the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye. Do not give that which is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, for they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.” (Matthew 7:1-6, AMP, Yesterday’s opening scriptures)

You see it’s one thing to humbly rebuke a brother or sister in the Lord (Or even to share the good news with those who may have never heard). But it’s a whole ‘nother thing to waste our time (and to exhaust ourselves!) trying to convince those who are under a strong delusion. So I’m just going to assume that you all know what I’m saying. And if you have no idea what I’m talking about, I encourage you to go back and read yesterday’s post  🙂

With nothing but love,

Brandi

♥♥ And as always, here’s a couple scriptures to consider:

(Proverbs 9:6-8, NLT) Leave your simple ways behind, and begin to live; learn to use good judgment. Anyone who rebukes a mocker will get an insult in return. Anyone who corrects the wicked will get hurt. So don’t bother correcting mockersthey will only hate you. But correct the wise, and they will love you.”

(Revelation 22:10-15) And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at handHe that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Feeling defeated by your sin?

_Listen! The Lord’s arm is not too weak to save you, nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call. It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, he has turned away and will not listen anymore._

Happy Sabbath everyone! So this morning, as usual, I was thinking about how amazing God is. Then it dawned on me how we really don’t have any excuse to be overcome by sin. Some of us are really struggling but the truth is, there is nothing in our little lives that God can not vanquish.

If we are truly in Christ and ABIDING in His spirit, then it is His will and His power working within us.

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” (Philippians 2:13)

So why are we being defeated? And what kind of testimony does our lives witness to unbelievers when we are still bound by sin and can’t overcome this world? Who would believe in a god (or in the message of his son!) whose people aren’t experiencing (or benefiting from) their so called sovereignty?  You see, this is why the bible says God is mocked and blasphemed among the gentiles.

“You who call yourselves Jews are relying on God’s law, and you boast about your special relationship with him. You know what he wants; you know what is right because you have been taught his law. You are convinced that you are a guide for the blind and a light for people who are lost in darkness. You think you can instruct the ignorant and teach children the ways of God. For you are certain that God’s law gives you complete knowledge and truth.Well then, if you teach others, why don’t you teach yourself? You tell others not to steal, but do you steal? You say it is wrong to commit adultery, but do you commit adultery? You condemn idolatry, but do you use items stolen from pagan temples? You are so proud of knowing the law, but you dishonor God by breaking it. No wonder the Scriptures say, ‘The Gentiles blaspheme the name of God because of you.’

(Romans 2:17-24, NLT)

And even though Paul was addressing Jews concerning the law, it’s the same as all of us professing Christ with our mouths when our hearts and lives are JACKED UP! And I’m not saying that we should be perfect overnight but we shouldn’t have certain issues if we have God’s power in us. There’s no excuses! We’re either lacking the faith to truly function or we have sin in our lives that we don’t want to repent of. Both are unacceptable. You can not please God (or inherit the kingdom!) without faith and sin (and worldliness!) is why Jesus came! He defeats the devil, and he overcame the world so through him we have victory. We are more than conquerors!

So the next time you find yourself thinking that your issues are too much for God, just remember who HE is and that His grace is sufficient. Also, we would do good to humble ourselves. It’s okay (and necessary!) to go back to the basics. At some point we have to examine ourselves to see if we’re truly in the faith. It’s a matter of life or death so let’s just do that today. Repent and believe the gospel.

With nothing but love,

Brandi

Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God. You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against GodFor if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ. Remember what it says: ‘Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.’ ” (Hebrews 3:12-15, NLT)

Forsaking worldly entertainment

Now I’m sure that the average professing Christian would think that I’m a bit extreme because I don’t have a TV in my house or listen to the radio.  Also, my husband and I just got through reiterating to our children (as we showed them pictures of basketball players wearing nail polish and purses!) why we don’t even follow professional sports anymore.

You see, the celebrities of this world are being used by satan to manipulate the masses into being (or accepting) everything that God hates. And this isn’t some illuminati conspiracy theory. It’ the truth. Even unbelievers know that the entertainment industry is Antichrist. Yet and still, we have professing Christians out here claiming to be so deep but they’re just as obsessed with Beyonce’ (and Obama!) as everyone else.

I would like to believe that true believers (especially in these end times) would have nothing to do with idol worship but the fact of the matter is that most of us are lukewarm. We love this world! We love it’s movies, and it’s music, and it’s fashion etc. But I’m here to WARN you that if you don’t forsake this world, you will be in danger of HELL FIRE. This world (and everything it values!), is not only Antichrist (in opposition to Jesus Christ) but it is going to burn in the fire of The Most High God’s WRATH.  So it’s time to come separate. We have to make a decision— Are we going to love (obey!) the Lord and His ways or are we going to deny Christ? Which in reality is what we’re already doing with our lives when we emulate these ungodly celebrities and pursue the pride of life. Don’t you know that your covetousness (which is idolatry) and your  guilty SINFUL pleasures are making you an enemy of God!?

“You adulteresses [disloyal sinners—flirting with the world and breaking your vow to God]! Do you not know that being the world’s friend [that is, loving the things of the world] is being God’s enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” (James 4:4, AMP)

Here’s another one:

“Do not love the world [of sin that opposes God and His precepts], nor the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust and sensual craving of the flesh and the lust and longing of the eyes and the boastful pride of life [pretentious confidence in one’s resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father, but are from the world. The world is passing away, and with it its lusts [the shameful pursuits and ungodly longings]; but the one who does the will of God and carries out His purposes lives forever. (1 John 2:15-17, AMP)

We really need to start reading our bibles (and actually start applying it to our lives) because we are living in the Great Deception/the end of time. Everyone, including these celebrities are claiming to be of God but you can tell by their fruit that they are NOT. These people (and their followers) love money, they hate God.

“No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.” (Matthew 6:24, NLT)

So I just wanted to remind you of these things. I could go on and on forever but the point is to guard your heart. Stand strong in the Lord, and on what the bible teaches.

With nothing but love,

Brandi

Purifying ourselves

“Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” Blessed are those who wash th (1)

True religion, accepted by God, according to the bible, is keeping ourselves from being stained (or corrupted) by this world (James 1:27) . But there is a great deception (and a falling away from sound doctrine) that causes people to believe that everything isn’t necessarily a “Salvation issue”. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. God is concerned about EVERYTHING we say and do.

There are so many of us fighting for the things of this world (like makeup, “Fashion”, Beyonce’ etc.) when we should be fighting for eternal life. And you may think that the things you love are innocent but that’s the thing, you LOVE the things of the world! Period. And by the way, nothing of this world is innocent. If it isn’t specifically addressed in the bible, that’s because it falls under the categories of unclean or profane. And just in case your pastor never told you, no unclean thing (including a covetous idolater) will enter into the kingdom.

But nothing that defiles or profanes or is unwashed shall ever enter it, nor anyone who commits abominations (unclean, detestable, morally repugnant things) or practices falsehood, but only those whose names are recorded in the Lamb’s Book of Life.” (Revelation 21:27, AMPC)

So we’ve got to purify ourselves. Being holy isn’t optional (it’s a command!). I know people like to scoff at righteousness but all it means is living right, according to God’s standards. So let’s not be self righteous (having our own standards of what’s right or good enough) but obedient AND FAITHFUL in ALL things.

With nothing but love,

Brandi

A few scriptures to consider:

(1 John 3:1-10, NLT ) “See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure. Everyone who sins is breaking God’s law, for all sin is contrary to the law of God. And you know that Jesus came to take away our sins, and there is no sin in him. Anyone who continues to live in him will not sin. But anyone who keeps on sinning does not know him or understand who he is.  Dear children, don’t let anyone deceive you about this: When people do what is right, it shows that they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous. But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God. So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God.

(James 4:4-8, AMP)  “You adulteresses [disloyal sinners—flirting with the world and breaking your vow to God]! Do you not know that being the world’s friend [that is, loving the things of the world] is being God’s enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture says to no purpose that the [human] spirit which He has made to dwell in us lusts with envy? But He gives us more and more grace [through the power of the Holy Spirit to defy sin and live an obedient life that reflects both our faith and our gratitude for our salvation]. Therefore, it says, “God is opposed to the proud and haughty, but [continually] gives [the gift of] grace to the humble [who turn away from self-righteousness].” So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you. Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; and purify your [unfaithful] hearts, you double-minded [people].

(2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1, NLT) “Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil? How can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever? And what union can there be between God’s temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God said: “I will live in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people. Therefore, come out from among unbelievers, and separate yourselves from them, says the LordDon’t touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you. And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God.

Live like you SAY you believe!

31st annual talent show

I’m sorry but I just can’t stress the fear of the Lord enough. Because without it, we will do whatever we want. Just look at America! Claiming to be of God but here ANYTHING goes. This nation is Antichrist. There is tolerance for all manner of perversion and foolishness but there is no tolerance, not even in the church for truth and righteousness. And I know that’s because the majority of those professing Christ don’t even know, let alone fear God. When you’ve truly met Him, you’ll fear Him (concerning sin). Just like the children of Israel did. Remember when they begged Moses not to let God speak directly to them?

When the people heard the thunder and the loud blast of the ram’s horn, and when they saw the flashes of lightning and the smoke billowing from the mountain, they stood at a distance, trembling with fear. And they said to Moses, “You speak to us, and we will listen. But don’t let God speak directly to us, or we will die!” “Don’t be afraid,” Moses answered them, “for God has come in this way to test you, and so that your fear of him will keep you from sinning!” (Exodus 20:18-20, NLT, You can read more about this in Exodus 19- 20)

But now we have such proud (and self raised!) pastors and false prophets (and self indulgent Christians!) talking about how you don’t really have to fear God. But what God are these people talking about? Because the God of the bible wiped out the entire earth with a flood and killed many people in other instances (including women AND CHILDREN). And I know that we don’t like to talk about all of that. But the TRUTH is what sets people free, not trying the make God or the gospel palatable for sinners. God is not playing around with us and our sins (or our ignorance!). If the prophets were literally afraid of the angels (bowing down and trembling in their presence), how is it that we can be so casual with GOD? It’s because we don’t know Him. We have made God out to be who we want Him to be in our emotions and with our minds (which are CARNAL and hostile toward the true and living God! Romans 8:7). Plus, Hollywood has depicted Jesus to be soft and feminine which we know [that the effeminate] are among those who will not inherit the kingdom according to the bible (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).

I’m telling ya’ll, we are truly living in the last days. And I know that some of you are open to this idea but by the way you are living your lives I can tell that you aren’t totally convinced yet. It’s like the end of time is something vague. It’s somewhere down the line. You’re aware but not concerned as if the time isn’t NOW. And even if the Lord doesn’t  return in your days, it’s because you’ll die first! So either way you should be alert. We need to get our houses in order. God is HOLY so we have to walk upright before Him. A lot of us are walking around in our own self righteousness (our own standards of what is right or good enough!) believing that we don’t have to do anything because “It’s already done”. But we have to work out own salvation with fear and trembling. Yes, we come to God as we are but we won’t remain the same or be accepted in to heaven as we are. Do not be deceived. We are not saved by our own efforts of righteousness but we do have to prove our faith.

For just as the [human] body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works [of obedience] is also dead.” (James 2:26, AMP)

You SAY you love God, you sing you’ll surrender all but you don’t obey His commands. And you aren’t willing to give up or to deny yourself the things of this world. So this is a wake up call to repentance. It’s time to start living like you say you believe. If your thoughts and your actions are lining up with the world’s philosophies instead of the bible, repent. Because the judgment of God is at hand. And if you are entertaining yourself with anything (music, movies, certain people and/or their personalities etc.) that glorifies sin or promotes anything that God doesn’t like, TURN IT OFF. It’s conditioning you to accept all that goes against Him. It’s the end of time! The Antichrist is rising!!!

So I hope that you are seeking the Lord while He still can be found because it’ll be too late when we see him coming in the clouds.

With nothing but love,

God does NOT like makeup

Now I’ve shared why I no longer wear makeup and fake hair but I want to revisit wearing makeup because this is something that a lot of women just don’t want to accept. God is not pleased with you painting your face in an attempt to enhance (or pervert, if you’re a man!) what He has created. If you would just allow yourself to honestly think of all the reasons makeup is worn, I can assure you that you will not find one righteous one. It’s demonic. It’s used to deceive, to seduce, to pervert, to manipulate, to pretend (costumes), to puff up (self esteem, which is pride!) and for pagan idol worship (ancient Egyptians, indigenous tribes, the occult, clowns and mimes etc.).  And for those of you who are trying to cover up acne, blemishes and scars, that right there proves that you are insecure and/or vain. Acne and other kinds of breakouts are indications that our bodies need to be properly cleansed or detoxed. And putting poison into your body (whether it’s cosmetic or food products) is not going to help. Not in REALITY. And scars show that we have been healed.  So if you’ve been burned or born with unique features (or you have just aged!) don’t be ashamed of your story. Makeup is ungodly. Let’s just be real, ya’ll know that we’ve picked this stuff up from the world. And it’s sad that we’re claiming to be so in love with God (or mighty in the Lord!) but when our appearance is threatened we will unleash hell.

And please hear my heart on this because I was there. I was the main one talking about, “This is my “Natural” everyday look.”

2014, Me looking CRAZY with a lacefront wig! Taking pictures for my “Ministry” flyers.

Also, keep in mind that I am only addressing those who are professing Christ and godliness. We are supposed to be HOLY (set apart) and different but we’re being influenced by the world’s trends and emulating their celebrities.  Do not be deceived by those who say “Man looks at the outward appearance but God looks at the heart.” We need to not only read scriptures in context but we need to take the full counsel of God. The scriptures also say that the heart is deceitful above all things AND WICKED (Jeremiah 17:9), and that we are to abstain from the appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22) and that includes worldliness. Yes, there are a lot of self righteous, head covering, white washed tombs out here probably judging you. But I don’t have anything to do with that. I’m just simply telling you the truth. God is not fond of your IDOLS—makeup, hair weaves, high heels and jewelry etc. It’s all vanity!

“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.” (Proverbs 31:30)

And I’m not saying that holiness equates to homelyness and that we can’t (or shouldn’t) embrace [godly] femininity. We are BEAUTIFUL creatures and we enjoy beautiful things. And there is nothing wrong with that. God created us like that! That’s why satan is trying to kill, steal and destroy our roles and our identity as women. Don’t be ignorant of his devices. And start denying yourself the things your flesh desires! Trust me, your spirit has no need or desire for makeup, it’s all carnal.

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.” (Galatians 5:16-17)

It’s a shame that us younger women don’t really have wise and pure older women to model after because most of our mothers and grandmothers are immature, busy bodies trying to keep up with the Joneses Kardashians. But nevertheless, it’s all laid out for us in the bible. May we open it and read it. And may we BELIEVE it.

With nothing but love,

Brandi

Not sure if you’ve had a chance to check out my last post  where I shared a little bit about my struggle with gluttony. But since then, I’ve been spending a lot more time reading the bible and seeking the face of the Father. God is so faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness. We just have to REPENT and to abide in His spirit.

But anyway, I mentioned all of that because as I have been spending a lot of my time in prayer, God has been speaking to me about the things that HE is concerned with. It’s like here I am having this silly AND SELFISH food addiction, when there is a whole world of perishing people out here that God is trying to get through to. You guys, we are living in a very dangerous (but significant!) time. The Lord’s return is imminent. We don’t have time to be playing around! So going forward, I am going to be using this site to encourage the saints, to preach the unadulterated word of God, and to rebuke casual Christians that are blaspheming the word of God by living ungodly lifestyles.

Many have fallen subject to the satanic systems (including religion) of this world. We have been conditioned through entertainment and many are READY to accept the beast (the Antichrist) and his mark. But God is calling us out from among the crowd. We will not endure (in Christ) all that is coming upon the earth if we continue to love the things of this world (or to goof around at these sensual events called “church”).

So, If you’ve been following the blog thus far, God bless you. I am compelled and living to proclaim the truth. No hard feelings if you choose to unfollow now, I’ll still be praying for you♥

God is not “Dope”

So last week I talked a little bit about fearing God, and in addition to that post I just want to comment on some foolish quotes I’ve been seeing. Now we all know that God is good  (which is the adjective definition of “Dope”) but we need to be careful whenever we find ourselves in agreement with this world. This world is wicked and deceived so you can be sure that God isn’t flattered, let alone pleased.

When we allow ourselves to become enticed by the world’s cool version of God (and their false gospel!), we are on our way to being drawn back into darkness. God is not our homeboy! He is not what’s trending or or in style. God is HOLY, and He doesn’t change with (and isn’t represented by!) the culture. This mindset is disrespectful and carnal (obviously because the carnal mind is enmity against God! Romans 8:7).

So we really have to start fearing the Lord because our deceitful hearts and this world wants to make God and His son Jesus Christ out to be something that they are not. No matter how much the times have changed or what society “evolves” into, God is the same as He has always been and He will never change.

“God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?(Numbers 23:19, NLT)

(a couple more scriptures)

  • “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8, NLT)
  • A voice said, “Shout!” I asked, “What should I shout?” “Shout that people are like the grass. Their beauty fades as quickly as the flowers in a field. The grass withers and the flowers fade beneath the breath of the Lord. And so it is with people. The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever.” (Isaiah 40:6-8, NLT)

God is who HE says He is, And He likes (and He hates!) what He always said He did! We can not change Him. And the world can not change Him (or His standards!) in order to accommodate their sin and worldliness.  So instead of coming in agreement with trying to alter God and His Word, we need to start fighting through the sanctification process of being transformed by the renewing of our minds. We can not properly serve the Lord still thinking, doing or being like we were when we were in the world.

“And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. “(Romans 12:1-2, NLT)

Jesus Christ and his true followers (or children of God) do not fit into this world so don’t fall into that “coexist” or tolerance trap. Don’t be ashamed of holiness either and be prepared for the rejection that comes along with being fully surrendered. Seriously, pray and stand your ground, or be washed away in this great flood of deception. We’re in the end times!

With nothing but love, Brandi

♥♥ Sometimes we entertain the world’s foolishness because we are covetous. Meaning we still desire notoriety and to live a certain (worldly) lifestyle. But that is idolatry and it’s offensive to God. We have to be content with the truth (which is Jesus Christ) alone.

Read this: (Malachi 3:13-18, NLT) “You have said terrible things about me,” says the Lord. “But you say, ‘What do you mean? What have we said against you?’ “You have said, ‘What’s the use of serving God? What have we gained by obeying his commands or by trying to show the Lord of Heaven’s Armies that we are sorry for our sins? From now on we will call the arrogant blessed. For those who do evil get rich, and those who dare God to punish them suffer no harm.’” Then those who feared the Lord spoke with each other, and the Lord listened to what they said. In his presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared him and always thought about the honor of his name. “They will be my people,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. “On the day when I act in judgment, they will be my own special treasure. I will spare them as a father spares an obedient child. Then you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.”

Hallelujah♥

Vain belief vs Saving faith

You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror.” (James 2:19. NLT)

So in a previous post I talked a little bit about false converts from the new age, and it inspired me to just address false converts in general. Because unfortunately, there are millions of people who think that they are “saved” (or in right standing with God) just because they believe in the God of the bible or in the idea of Jesus Christ. But I’m here to remind you that “believing” is not enough. We have to believe unto righteousness.

Romans 10:9 says that if we confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts that Jesus  is Lord and was raised from the dead then we’ll be saved but your pastor left out the next and most important thing!

So let’s read it, starting at Romans 10:8 “But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): (*verse 9:) that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (*NOW VERSE 10:) For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:8-10, *my own interjections)

You see, we have to believe UNTO righteousness. Like James said, all that Faith without works stuff is DEAD! And I’m not talking about our own self righteous works or efforts to try and appear godly to our own selves (or before men!). I’m talking about the POWER OF GOD that should be working in you to accomplish all that pleases Him.

Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away, it is even more important. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.” (Philippians 2:12-13, NLT)

So if we’re denying God in our works (by the way we’re treating others and living out our lives), then we are either false converts or reprobate. And quite frankly, children of the devil.

They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.” (Titus 1:16)

See salvation, and being a true believer doesn’t come from knowing of God (like the demons do!). It comes from hearing the truth and loving the truth (which is Jesus and his message or “gospel”) and loving the Father. And when we truly love God we obey Him and His commandments aren’t burdensome (1 John 5:3). We will begin to do what is good and right not because we’re forced to but because we’re in agreement with Him therefore He empowers us.

“And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.” (Acts 5:32)

This is not only how we come to repentance but CONTINUE therein. When you truly have faith, you will no longer abide in this world or by it’s corrupted “beliefs” or value systems. After learning the ways of the Lord, you’ll become ashamed and remorseful behind how you have been living/sinning. And if you truly believe that Jesus died in order for us to overcome all of this, then you will believe to the point of abandoning  your life as you knew it to go on and wholeheartedly follow him.

So again, the result of faith is not going to hangout at some event called church on Sundays.  True, saving faith results in a (from the inside out) sanctification process. It’s being the butt of every joke. It’s losing all of your friends and family members because they’re offended by the TRUTH. So I hope you understand. Don’t be like those who have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. From such turn away.

With nothing but love, Brandi

♥♥By the way, I created a page where you can read along (or just watch and listen!) to the bible with me. If you’re interested, here’s the link 🙂

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17)

False new age converts and witchcraft in the church

I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return. May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ—for this will bring much glory and praise to God.” (Philippians 1:9-22, NLT)

So I’ve been wanting to address this for some time now because every time I sign into YouTube, somebody gotta “testimony” of how Jesus delivered them from the new age. And I’m not saying that God isn’t saving people, I’m just saying that the majority of these people are delusional.

Many false Christs have arrived (especially in our minds!) so if you’re coming out of the new age, I beseech you to truly examine yourselves and the God you’ve come to know.

You see, I’ve studied witchcraft in the past so I know (personally!) all the demons and haughty mindsets that come with that. And if we can just be honest, the reason we got into all of that in the first place was because we wanted to play God and try to create an escape from our mediocre lives (or past and present traumas). But how many of you know that wanting to be like God was satan’s sin (and what also caused the fall of man!). It’s like an addiction. Once you’ve dabbled in the occult for some years (unless you’re completely of the devil) you’re going to want something better and more powerful. And I believe that this is how many of you ended up “coming to Christ”. You heard a false gospel of “love” aka tolerance and now you think you’re riding off into the sunset with the POWER of the holy spirit. But in reality, you’re still not HOLY (set apart from the world), now you’re just an intellect or a “spiritual” person that goes to church.  And I’m not trying to rain on your parade but going to church and reading the bible with a carnal mind does not make you a follower of Jesus Christ. Neither does letting Joel Osteen and Joyce Meyers make a merchandise of you!

So what am I saying? What am I suggesting to you? I’m telling you to examine yourself because YOU could be a false convert. And don’t be offended and all in your feelings about this. I was a false convert from 2012 to 2016ish!

IMG_20150117_202724

Look at me (in the stripped shirt) doing some “Christian yoga” (2015)

Witchcraft has infiltrated the church because church people don’t truly know or fear the Lord. We have created God (in our minds) to be who we want (and FEEL) Him to be. That’s why we’re steadily attempting to “sanctify” profane things. We wanna slap a “Christian” label on something bad as if that declares it holy (Christian rap, Christian yoga, Christian witches etc.). But God ALONE has the authority to declare what is holy and what is not. And He already established all of that. He doesn’t change with the culture! And this goes for all of us. Because witchcraft isn’t always blatant. Just rebelling against the ways and commands of the Lord in general is considered witchcraft.

So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LordBehold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LordHe also has rejected you from being king.” ( 1 Samuel 15:22-23, NKJV)

So let us learn a lesson from King Saul, just simply learn and obey the ways and commands of the Lord. If He will reject our thoughtful sacrifices then we know that He is still not accepting strange fires (please read). Don’t follow people or even your own heart (which the bible says is deceitful and wicked above all else—Jeremiah 17:9) into worshiping God (or yourself!) however you want. Read the bible and take it literal. Don’t rely on the demonic theologian’s and ungodly scholar’s interpretations. PRAY to be filled with the holy ghost. He will teach you everything you need to know ( 1  John 2:26) and those apart of the true body of Christ will edify and confirm what He’s already told you. The commentary (and the average church!) is full of vain imaginations of man. Where do you think all of these self serving attitudes and false doctrines are coming from?

See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception [pseudo-intellectual babble], according to the tradition [and musings] of mere men, following the elementary principles of this world, rather than following [the truth—the teachings of] Christ.” (Colossians 2:8, AMP)

So, if you’re serious about worshiping God (not only in “spirit” but IN TRUTH!) and being a follower of Jesus Christ, I pray you take heed to what I’m saying. May the Lord be with IN you all.

With love, Brandi

Which means following the examples of truth, righteousness and sufferings  he has set before us.

Abusing Grace and Once saved always saved

Well first of all, let me just start off by saying that we can not abuse grace. We are either continuously maturing in the Lord and being sanctified or we are deceived. And like the apostle Paul, I would not have you to be ignorant concerning these things. So I want to talk a little bit about Grace and how it doesn’t just “cover” sin but it cures it.

In Romans, we learn that the freedom of God’s grace doesn’t allow us to be lawless but frees us from the bondage of sin to be servants (or workers) of God and righteousness (aka DOING or should I say living out good works).

For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ. Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone.Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous. God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant. So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives. Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was. We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him. We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him. When he died, he died once to break the power of sin. But now that he lives, he lives for the glory of God. So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus.Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires.Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God. Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace. Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you wholeheartedly obey this teaching we have given you. Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous livingBecause of the weakness of your human nature, I am using the illustration of slavery to help you understand all this. Previously, you let yourselves be slaves to impurity and lawlessness, which led ever deeper into sin. Now you must give yourselves to be slaves to righteous living so that you will become holy. When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the obligation to do right. And what was the result? You are now ashamed of the things you used to do, things that end in eternal doom. But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 5:17-6:23)

You see, people who love the world and their sin more than they love Jesus want to believe that grace excuses sin but it doesn’t. We are not saved by grace alone. We are save by grace THROUGH FAITH, which produces fruits of repentance and holiness (living separate from this world and set apart for God.)

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

And the whole point Paul was trying to make (and MADE for those of us who aren’t trying to justify sin and weaknesses which we’ll talk about in a minute) was that we can’t  be proud because we’re overcoming sin and living (and thinking!) right because we didn’t (and couldn’t) quicken ourselves. God changed us! Therefore all glory belongs to Him. And this, my friends is the power of the resurrection. We WERE dead in our sin (remember the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life). So for those of you who claim to be in Christ but are still comfortable with sin and in living a worldly lifestyle, you may have a form of godliness but you are denying the power thereof. From such TURN AWAY (2 Timothy 3:5)!

Now concerning our sinful natures, yes, we are susceptible to this world. Paul said that no good thing dwelt in his flesh but the difference (between him and these hyper grace believers) is that he knew sin would hinder him in serving the Lord and ultimately cause him to go to hell (be “a cast away”). He didn’t want to remain that way. He tried to pray his thorn away but God assured him that even in that, His GRACE WAS SUFFICIENT. We too have serious issues and unpleasant circumstances that get the best of us but in Christ we have the power to bring those things into subjection and walk in righteousness (continuously doing what is good and right).

Nothing excuses sin and God does NOT tolerate it. If you are truly struggling with something then either your will is behind it or you haven’t been truly born again. Trust me, I’ve had to come to terms with both! So I hope you consider what I’m saying. Let go of all traditions of men (and doctrines of devils!). There’s no such thing as once saved always saved, we have to ABIDE in the HOLY Spirit we’ve been given.

With nothing but love, Brandi

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” (Titus 2:11-14)

Amen♥♥

Delusion, the part of God’s judgment we overlook

Even him (* The Antichrist), whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:” ( 2 Thessalonians 2:9-13, *my own interjection)

So I just got through reading an article on Lauren Daigle. And I don’t know why i’m saying that like I didn’t literally just learn about her 5 minutes ago! So if you don’t know who that is, it doesn’t even matter. Just know that she is a sell out. And that’s what all of these so called Christians are in the entertainment industry. They claim to be of God but either compromise or cower out and deny our Lord when they’re confronted on sound doctrine. But anyway, what inspired this post was the fact that she (like many others!) don’t want to offend or call sin what it is. But we can not side step sin. People  have to know the truth in order to be saved. And for those who know (or have been exposed to) the truth but still choose to reject it (because they love sin and the world too much), God will (if He hasn’t already) turn them over to themselves. And this is something we rarely ever think about. We always talk about hell and the lake of fire but we forget that the wrath of God already abides on the unbelievers.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36)

So, I just wanted to share my thoughts with you. May the Lord be with us in these “unbelievable” times.

Your sister, Brandi

(Romans 1:16-32) “For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile. This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.” But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles. So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved. Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.”

Obsessing over demons and conspiracy theories

Do not participate in the worthless and unproductive deeds of darkness, but instead expose them [by exemplifying personal integrity, moral courage, and godly character];  for it is disgraceful even to mention the things that such people practice in secret. (Ephesians 5:11-12, AMP)

Now I purposely shared the amplified version because I think that in “exposing” evil or in being “enlightened” we can get a little too caught up and miss the whole memo.  YES, demons are real and things like population control and the New World Order are obviously not just theories. But as followers of Jesus Christ, revelation and understanding are given so that we can overcome. People of the world are also interested in these things but the difference is (or should be!) that we aren’t afraid or obsessed with these things. The entire world is under the trickery and wrath (TRIBULATION) of the devil. IT IS WRITTEN! Therefore we know these things ARE and WILL come to pass (happen).

So, the point of this post is just to remind you not to get lost in the rabbit holes. Studying demonic entities and governmental conspiracies (or ungodly celebrities etc.) is as Solomon would say, ALL VANITY. At the end of the day, these things are not edifying. And I know from personal experience that they produce more fear (and idolatry!) than anything.  So, if we must, let us simply expose these things by living out the gospel of Jesus Christ. Not by telling any and everyone who will listen to our fascinations. The bible says that it is a SHAME to even mention what these occultic people are doing.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.” (Ephesians 6:11-12)

So again, we need to just simply accept the truth about these things and move on. Not being ignorant of satan’s devices. And remembering that knowledge puffeth up but true wisdom (and understanding) will cause you to fear God and live right in the midst of it all. I hope you understand what I’m saying.

With nothing but love and lots of prayer,

Your sister, Brandi

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” (Ephesians 6:11-13)

♥♥Side note: I created an additional page to the blog where I will be simply reading through the New Testament. If you’re interested, be sure to check that out. I would LOVE for you to join me!

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17)

Forsaking family for Christ

“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.” (Matthew 10:34-39)

Now I’m not going to go all in depth on this because everyone’s situations and circumstances are different but what I will do is remind you that at the end of the day, coming separate from the world includes ungodly family members. And this seems to be where a lot of us either compromise or draw the line because quite frankly, we ourselves are still worldly or we’re COWARDS and are ashamed of the gospel. And I know because this was something that I struggled with. I didn’t want to keep coming off as a “know it all” or offend. But the truth is what it is and besides, I  was sick and tired of my spirit being vexed after interacting with certain family members.

I’ve learned that family can be a MAJOR hindrance to your relationship with the Lord, especially those who claim to be Christians and/or are church goers. They may have a form of godliness but their carnal mindsets (and ungodly lifestyles!) deny the power thereof. FROM SUCH TURN AWAY! And if you want to make your close friends and family members an exception to the rules, then you have a bigger problem on your hands and it’s called idolatry.

How can two walk together lest they agree? It doesn’t matter if they’re your mother or your brothers if they don’t believe what you believe (meaning what  is taught in the Bible). As Christians we should be following the examples of Jesus Christ and he considered his family to be those who DO the will of his Father.

As Jesus was speaking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, asking to speak to him. Someone told Jesus, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, and they want to speak to you.” Jesus asked, “Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?” Then he pointed to his disciples and said, “Look, these are my mother and brothers. Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother!” (Matthew 12:46-50)

So don’t let anyone make you feel guilty about leaving your family behind. Remember when Jesus told a disciple who wanted to care for his father first to let the dead bury the dead (Matthew 8:18-22). We have to leave our civilian affairs behind. Like those enlisted in the military, we belong to the kingdom of God now! Family will try to own you and demand your loyalty. Even over what is fair, and what is right or what is TRUE.

So, we have to make sure that our identity is in Jesus Christ, and not in our families or in anything else. Sever those ties!

With nothing but love, Brandi

A very important message from me to all of you! (Please watch)

The message (or gospel!) of Jesus Christ was never meant to be complicated. In destroying the works of the devil and overcoming the world, Jesus died so that in him we would have the power (and the privilege!) to repent and overcome as he did. The kingdom, or judgement and reign of the one, true and living God and His Son Jesus Christ is coming! So if we love them and want to be apart of the kingdom (of righteousness, peace and joy) we have to live right— according to THEIR standards. So, I hope that you choose life. God bless you and feel free to contact me through the blog or via email:coachbrandibond@gmail.com

3 ways to identify a real Christian

By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” (John 13:35)

So recently I blogged about coming separate from this world, and I mentioned how a lot of professing Christians are actually still unbelievers. In this post, I’m going to specify 3 things that I  believe are (but aren’t limited to) indications of a true believer. So let’s get right into it.

#1 They believe the Bible to be completely true AND RIGHT!

In addition to the opening scripture, true disciples of Jesus Christ are deeply rooted in sound doctrine.  The bible is clear on what is sin (and what is and isn’t appropriate for those professing godliness). Therefore true believers take into account the full counsel of the bible without cherry picking.

#2 They come to repentance and are born again of the Spirit

“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” 1John 3:9

True followers of Jesus Christ are not sinners.  They do not live in a constant state of sin or worldliness (pursuing the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh or the pride of life). They understand that grace does NOT excuse sin and that there is no such thing as once saved always saved.

#3 They’re always concerned about the things of God

Real Christians are set on helping others also live upright because they know that this is the end of the age and that the whole world lies in wickedness (1John 5:19). They are not concerned about their everyday lives. They seek the kingdom of God first, denying themselves the “pleasures” and luxuries of this life.

Ultimately, there’s no distinction between mainstream Christianity and the world. They look a like, act a like, and pursue the same things making true children of God seem insane. Which is expected since they are a peculiar people 🙂

Much love, Brandi

How to come separate from this world

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” (1 John 2:15-17)

I want to take some time to talk about coming separate from this world because recently I had to come to terms with the fact that I was lukewarm. And a lot of us are lukewarm— claiming to be Christians when our lifestyles are no different from those who blatantly reject God. But before I get into coming separate from this world, I want briefly explain what I am referring to as “The world”.

When I mention the world, I am talking about the society’s system of resources, values, priorities and philosophies that are influenced by the devil. Since satan is the god of this world (according to scriptures like Matthew 4:8-10), he is the one orchestrating the ideas and moves of the people. Whether they know (or believe) it or not, those who aren’t in Christ (and Christians who aren’t abiding in the Spirit!) are being deceived (and employed!) by the devil.

We know that God’s children do not make a practice of sinning, for God’s Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot touch them. We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the control of the evil one. (1 John 5:18-19, NLT)

Therefore, being a friend or in agreement with the ways of living AND THINKING like the world (or the cultures around us) puts us in direct opposition to God and His standards (which are clear in the bible).

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. (James 4:4)

So what am I saying? Am I saying that we have to live like the Amish? No, because Jesus sends his disciples out into the world (John 17:6-26, Matthew 28:16-20). What I’m saying is, is that we have to repent, and stop living like we don’t know what the bible teaches!

Like I mentioned above, this is how a lot of us have deceived ourselves into believing that we are Christians when in reality we are enemies of God.

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. (James 1:22-25)

Since we know that coming separate isn’t literal (because again, Jesus sends us out into the world), we know that it means forsaking fellowship with unbelievers (fake Christians!) and being delivered from evil.

When I wrote to you before, I told you not to associate with people who indulge in sexual sin. But I wasn’t talking about unbelievers who indulge in sexual sin, or are greedy, or cheat people, or worship idols. You would have to leave this world to avoid people like that. I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. Don’t even eat with such people. (1 Corinthians 5:9-11, NLT)

It’s a sanctification process. This is what being holy and set apart (or separate!) is all about!

And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. (Romans 12:1-2, NLT)

Just think of how many commands and directives (like women wearing head coverings to church) have been tossed out the window because we’re evolving with the culture. When we’re of the world, we think like the world. God is the same God of Israel. He’s still holy and His desires haven’t changed. If we truly want to be followers of His son Jesus Christ then we have to DENY OURSELVES and walk in righteousness. We can’t be worried about our own opinions or interpretations and social rankings.

“So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. (Matthew 6:31-32, NLT)

So basically it all boils down to this, if you want to come separate from this world, just read your bible and with the power of the holy ghost start DOING what it says. The results are inevitable.

Much love, Brandi

Why I left the “church”

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

 (2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1)

Now first of all, let me just start of by saying that this post isn’t really about why I left the “church” I was attending. It’s more about why I left the congregation of professing Christians in general.

See, there once was a time when I would shy away from admitting that I didn’t have a church home (as if going to church makes you a true believer) but what I’ve learned is to be bold and unapologetic about it because the true church has left the building.

Yup, that’s right! True followers of Jesus Christ are not hanging out in some government building being spoiled by philosophy and by vain deceit after the rudiments of this world or THE TRADITIONS OF MEN and not after Christ. So therefore, I have left the “church”, or I have forsaken the assembling of myself with church people—people who claim to know (and love!) God but are manifesting works of the flesh rather than fruits worthy of repentance.

I mean, what fellowship does a bible believing Christian have with contentious, carnal people who are not obeying the Lord’s commands but are busy building their own kingdoms (or brands!) here on this earth in the name of Jesus? I have met the REAL Jesus and I can assure you that the majority of professing Christians have not had a real encounter with (or revelation of) the living Christ!

These people are not truly seeking the Lord. They’re pursuing the pride of life while I choose DAILY to count it all dung that I might win Christ. And I’m not saying that i’m perfect or that I’m the only one. What I’m saying is is that I’ve been there and done that and have gained NOTHING.

I choose to live right. According to God’s standards, not according to people’s thoughts and/or feelings.

I’ve spent YEARS seeking the Lord and what I found is a HOLY God who isn’t interested in Sunday rituals or lip service.

And so the Lord says, “These people say they are mine. They honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. And their worship of me is nothing but man-made rules learned by rote.

(Isaiah 29:13)

He requires true REPENTANCE, we have to come separate! And that includes from vain, proud and ignorant congregations. So, with that being said, if you don’t take anything else away from this post just know that I’ve decided to quit playing church and to wholeheartedly follow Jesus.

With nothing but love,

Brandi

Our last Easter Sunday, 2016

When I wrote to you before, I told you not to associate with people who indulge in sexual sin. But I wasn’t talking about unbelievers who indulge in sexual sin, or are greedy, or cheat people, or worship idols. You would have to leave this world to avoid people like that. I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. Don’t even eat with such people. It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning.” (1 Corinthians 5:9-12, NLT)
